What to Expect From a Reveal Fitting

A hearing aid only performs as well as it is programmed, so we verify our fittings with real-ear measurement, a small probe microphone placed in your ear canal that shows us the sound actually reaching your eardrum. Manufacturer default settings are built around an average ear canal, and very few ears are average. Your appointment also covers physical fit and comfort, pairing the devices to your phone, and an orientation to the Oticon app so you can adjust volume and programs yourself between visits.

Because we partner with all major manufacturers rather than one, our recommendation comes from your hearing test and your daily listening demands, not from a single product line. If you want the most aggressive background noise reduction available, Reveal's approach may not be the right match, and we will tell you. After the fitting you have a 30-day trial period, reprogramming as your ears adjust, scheduled clean and checks, and troubleshooting whenever you need it.
